Message from Norbu

The other day I was incredibly touched to receive a message from Norbu, one of the teachers at SMD. Norbu introduced A Story of Karma to the young monks he’s teaching, after reading the book himself. Thank You Norbu, for sharing your generous and kind thoughts, and for being an inspiration to those young monks, and to me.

Message from Norbu:

“First of all, I would like to say thanks for providing us such an inspiring book and to read and reflect on ourselves. While reading this book I come to find a lot more things that are necessary for the Himalayas. Like Culture, Language, and Tradition.

I am delighted to learn about your experience in Nepal and Nar Phu, also visiting many of the mountains of Nepal. I also found here many more things were written about Rinpoche’s, Namo Buddha, and SMD kids. I loved to read a wonderful and interesting story about your experience of Namo Buddha. “The end of birth is disintegration, and the end of gathering is separation” This sentence is touched me more. Various glimpses of pictures that you share in this story, it clarifies me more while reading such a rewarding book. I also learn lots of Vocabulary after reading this book. I wish it will be really helpful to others and myself.

Lastly, I would like to say Thank you so much Michael and Chantal for providing a wonderful book and your beautiful experience of Nepal. My best wishes and healthy prayers will accomplish every dream of your life. “A Story of Karma Book” is very interesting and inspiring. I am hoping all the SMD kids will read this book, “Find Love and Truth in the Himalaya” and will bring so much awareness to Himalayan people and more support to SMD kids.”
