This event is in collaboration with the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF), Rocky Mountain Books (RMB), the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre, the Nepal Cultural Society of B.C., and the Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School for Himalayan Children.
A Story of Karma Synopsis:
The story begins with a dream to climb an unknown mountain in the Himalaya of northern Nepal. What unfolds in the mountains, however, forces me to question my values and my own identity, and eventually leads me to meet a little girl in a remote mountain village. Little did either of us know that from that moment we would completely change the trajectory of each other’s life. In short, it is a story of human connection, love, and compassion amidst the complex dichotomies of our world.
