A Story of Karma
I’m excited to share with you my new book, A Story of Karma. The story begins with a dream to climb an unknown mountain in the Himalaya of northern Nepal. What unfolds in the mountains, however, forces me to question my values and my own identity, and eventually leads me to meet a little girl in a remote mountain village. Little did either of us know that from that moment we would completely change the trajectory of each other’s life.
The Mountains keep calling me.
And I keep going to them.
The mountains have always been my place of meditation and healing. They’ve taught me about impermanence and acceptance; to be the steady mind in the face of chaos; to channel fear into courage; and above all, to practice humility.
We are all Interconnected.
The sooner we understand this, the sooner we will make better conscious decisions for all life on earth. Although the concept of interdependence can be harder to grasp in our modern world, its importance has never been clearer to me than when I’m immersed with those who dwell in the high places of the world.
The World keeps changing. Creation is ongoing.
Each of us has a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of our world. For the past twelve years I have focused on contributing to the education of Himalayan children from some of the most remote and inhospitable places on earth.
